Top of the Gulf 410 - Beach Resort Condo

Positive: Great location and check in and out is easy

Positive: Room was nice. We had a good trip Negative: The room smelled like cigarettes really bad and it said it was supposed to be a non smoking facility.

Positive: That I was close to the ocean and how clean the room was Negative: That I had two items missing from my room never was replaced

Will continue to book with Top of the Gulf. Positive: Everything. Great location, very clean.

Positive: Our room was very nice and clean. Negative: The staff was a little rude.

Positive: It was clean, inviting, & furnished with everything we could've needed. Great view, perfect distance from the beach, loved the snack shack, & sitting areas.

Pleasant Positive: Very clean Negative: Ice machine broke, toaster broke, noisy

I'll go anywhere but here ..... Positive: The room was great. Access to beach was nice as well. Everything else...well I wish I would of read Google reviews before buying the room. Lesson learned. Negative: The staff........ Lady at the desk was beyond rude. I've stayed all over the US and never had to deal with someone that was this rude in my life. Also if u have family that live here in town don't bother having them come and say hi to you because it's not allowed. Grandbaby had to much sun and wanted to see grandma and grandpa before he left, guess what that's not allowed. I've just never stayed at a place that you couldn't have family come by and say hi. I get that they might not want a bunch of craziness going on but to have someone just stop by especially that it's only one night here to begin with is ridiculous. Never ever again.

Great Value Positive: Clean, great location, just steps from the beach. Negative: No hot tubs, pool wasn’t heated.

Apart from the above mentioned, the stay was excellent Positive: It’s close proximity to the beach and shopping strips. Negative: Lack of privacy in the room when with kids and the absence of a jacuzzi as advertised

Everything was good except I was scammed out of a beachfront view. Very poor. Bussiness practice Negative: I was told I was getting a “beachfront view” no beach to be seen.

Bring extra money! Positive: The location was great Negative: Code didn't work when we tried to get in. Had to call and get them to reset it. We had to supply our own bedding for the pull out couch. Air conditioner barely worked so we had to buy a fan but it was still stuffy and miserable.

Positive: It looked upgraded. The appliances were great and the AC worked amazingly!!! Negative: The ice maker in the fridge wasn’t hooked up and I wish there was a rug or something cause that floor was cold!

Would have a perfect score if I didn’t sweat the whole time being in my room Positive: Really nice amenities, easy to get too and comfortable to stay in! Negative: The air conditioning in room 410 was weak never got under 77 degrees and I had it set to 65

Would not stay at this location again!!! Positive: Close to the beach Negative: The room had ALOT of sand on the floor as soon as we walked in. Bathroom door/ walls was dirty not cleaned! Also only one mirror and it was in the bathroom. No full length mirror making getting ready a little difficult! The security guard was annoying stopping you for every little thing. The front office was closed and had to get a parking pass from the security office it spelt like weed! The only time he was not almost harassing you was when he had three ladies that was occupying his time on Saturday night.

Enjoyable stay for the most part Positive: Nicely renovated ! Good location Negative: We could’ve used a few more wash cloths and some more toilet paper and there was no closet. Also, the fitness center was closed.

It was exhausting and disappointing with having to wait 6 hours for our room and no ocean view😭 Positive: NOTHING! I booked this because my main hotel was booked. I went down to get my mother's ashes after two years of her passing. When I booked I asked for early check in and ocean view room. I got neither!!!! We got to the hotel at about 10am, the lady at the front said go to the room and see if it unlocks if not you have to wait till 3pm. I paid 225 which includes a154 cleaning fee for a room that was not properly cleaned to begin with and they wouldn't put me put me in a different room. . Well we had to wait outside the property or go occupy ourselves until 3 to get into it room because it wasn't ready for my request really check in, disappointing with two small childrent. My youngest daughter was sick and I asked the lady if she could try to see if there were other rooms available we could check into. She said no. My ocean view room was a street view of the properties parking lot with construction dumpsters all over and a million stray cats. It was so disappointing I will never ever book there or anywhere in this site. It lies about what you're booking and when you get there it's messed up or time we're cancelled or I get ignorant host at these places on here. Negative: Y'all don't do military discounts and tell us we have to g go to the hotel to change it but in all reality booking it's supposed to include military discounts! I'm tired of booking on here and spending so much money and being disappointed every time. Time to move to another booking service.

All in all very good stay. Positive: Great location and renovated condo. Negative: No bottle opener or can opener in condo. Also the property put misinformation about having a hot tub.

No problems excellent service all around when we had minor inconveniences they were fixed

Positive: Felt like home, got to walk right out to the beach, got great views of the sun going down and coming up Negative: Spent 300 for what seemed to be just a few hours.
